A residence card is a document confirming the identity of a foreigner during his stay in Lithuania. Permanent residence permit can bes issued for those staying in Lithuania for at least five years, having insurance and a stable source of income. It is issued for five years straight.A person can obtain citizenship after residing in Lithuania for ten years.
