Photos of children
The rules of photographing children are similar in many respects to those of adults. The face should be clearly visible, directed in full face. The photo should have a smooth background, etc. There are only two differences from the photos of adults:
- Support for very young children is allowed, but it must be done in such a way that no part of the body or clothing of the supporter is included in the frame;
- As it has been already mentioned, children under 11 years are allowed to have a photo where the distance from the chin to the crown does not exceed 25 mm.
Photo measures are 35 x 45 mm.
In addition to the above mentioned, there are additional technical requirements for photos on the Schengen visa and employment visa:
- The brightness of the photo should be as natural as possible.
- The obviously degraded quality, the discrete pixel structure of the picture is not allowed.
- Any defects are prohibited: scratches, stains, bends, creases, etc.
- You cannot apply any additional processing, including artistic retouching, filters, widescreen lenses.
- It is necessary to prevent the appearance of unnatural defects in the face, skin, hair, etc. or concealment of the natural.
There are a lot of rules for the Polish visa photos. Most of them need to be known to photographers themselves, but any citizen who wants to obtain permits must understand what photos are needed for a visa in the end. This will help to avoid trouble and will protect against possible mistakes, save time, nerves and money.
To be sure of the correctness of the picture, we found out where to make a photo for a visa. In the visa centre, there are automatic machines for photographing. In addition, it’s fast.
